Deeper is a constant movement, sinking into the undestranding and experiencing the other. There is no end in this exploration, it is an inexhaustable process.

 

Layer to layer, skin to skin, leather to leather, human to human, couple to couple, as a group they investigate proximity of social, physical, emotional bodies. How to touch without touching? How to be close without being too much? How to be in a relationship that is trustful, intimate but provides enough space to maintain the freedom of interaction?

 

DEEPER explores interaction through the sense of touch. Touching speaks its own language, it demands our time, it doesn’t give in easy. It teaches us how to go deeper into the object of exploration without the dominion of thought and sight. It is direct, specific but caring and tender. Touching transcends the psychival layers, it is a passage to the unknown, to the unspeakable.

 

Imre Vass and Zsófia Tamara Vadas knows each other for more than 10 years, the last two years they made two black-box contemporary dance pieces and few small scale outdoors performances as well. Their professional, artistic relationship has a strong base. For their new creation DEEPER they invite another Budapest based “artistic couple” Marcio Kerber Canabarro and Csaba Molnár to expand their professional relationship
